Lanzarote - Christmas tree currently under construction
The shopping centre 'Deiland' in Playa Honda, currently still the largest centre on Lanzarote, is already gearing up for the Christmas season these days. The gigantic Christmas tree is being erected in the middle of the central exhibition area.
With this decoration, the Advent season is now apparently already being heralded at the beginning of October.
Currently, 'Deiland' offers more than 60 shops and 600 parking spaces.
The Deiland shopping centre was inaugurated in November 1998 and has a built-up area of 36,850 square metres.
Currently, there is a large supermarket, various terraces, cafés and restaurants as well as multiplex cinemas (with five cinema halls, two of them in 3D), Brunswick Professional Bowling or a children's playground.
