50 Years of Costa Teguise ! Among the anniversary show acts, it is worth mentioning the exhibition of 12 parachutists of the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army (PAPEA), who will fly over the sky of Costa Teguise after being launched from a C212 aircraft on the beach of Las Cucharas, over which they will perform 4 passes displaying the Canary Islands and Spanish flags, showing their skill in the air.

"A very important anniversary for the municipality, which we have the honour of celebrating with the Air and Space Army, for its work in the defence of the archipelago through the Canary Islands Air Command, and because we are united by a very decisive event for the development of tourism on the island, as was the transfer of the runway that allowed us to have a civil airport in Lanzarote," said Oswaldo Betancort during the presentation.

The Teguise Town Hall and the Spanish Air and Space Force invite the entire population of Lanzarote to enjoy the two days, which will include various activities: SAR and PAPEA aerial demonstrations; an exhibition including a virtual shooting simulator, flight simulator, flight material of the F-18 Squadron and the Search and Rescue Service (SAR) of the Spanish Air Force located in the 46th Wing of the Gando Air Base; the concert of the Canary Islands Air Command Music Unit; the unveiling of a plaque in honour of the F-18 Squadron and the Search and Rescue Service (SAR) of the Spanish Air Force; the presentation of a plaque in honour of the F-18 Squadron and the Search and Rescue Service (SAR) of the Canary Islands Air Force; the unveiling of a plaque in honour of the Eagle Patrol; the solemn lowering of the Spanish Flag with an act of homage to the fallen and a subsequent military parade, as well as an institutional recognition of the Town Council of the Villa de Teguise to the Air and Space Army which will take place in the Convent of Santo Domingo in the Villa de Teguise.

Among the aforementioned acts, it is worth mentioning the exhibition of 12 parachutists of the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army (PAPEA), who will fly over the sky of Costa Teguise after being launched from a C212 aircraft on the beach of Las Cucharas, over which they will perform 4 passes displaying the Canary Islands and Spanish flags, showing their skill in the air. As a prelude to this exhibition, the public will first enjoy (from 11.45 on Saturday), the intervention of a SAR helicopter, which will perform a sea rescue demonstration. The parachuting display is therefore scheduled for 12.15 p.m. and will last for 20 minutes.
