COVID RADAR - The official Spanish warning app suspends operations

This week, the official Spanish Corona warning app, which has become a constant companion for the Spanish population over a long period of time and through which contact tracing in the Kingdom was regulated, was officially discontinued.

After only the infection figures of the population group, the over-60s, had been officially published on a sub-site of the Ministry of Health since spring, the national warning app has now also been taken offline.

Spain is thus returning more and more to a starting situation that can be compared with the living conditions before the pandemic. Only in some areas of everyday life that are considered more sensitive, such as doctors' surgeries and pharmacies, and officially also in public transport, masks are still compulsory.
