BACK IN BUSINESS! RYANAIR OPENS BASE IN LANZAROTE AGAIN
The Irish airline Ryanair announced today (November 22, 2022) that it will open two new bases at Tenerife South and Lanzarote airports for the coming summer season, which will create 120 direct jobs and almost 2,000 indirect jobs.

This was announced by the company's CEO, Eddie Wilson, at a press conference accompanied by the President of the Canary Islands Government, Ángel Víctor Torres, in which he stressed that there will be 70 routes to the islands, six of them new, with 520 weekly flights, a 10% increase.
The company has invested some 400 million euros and has a "clear commitment" to the archipelago, with the aim, in the medium and long term, of opening other bases in Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Palma, said the Canary Islands president.
